Why is it that when I have so many books to read – and they’re all books I want to read – I spend so much time mucking around doing other things and not reading at all?
You have some fantastic books in your TBR pile. I *love* Amelia Peabody so "The Mummy Case" totally jumped out at me.
And I remember when I first stumbled over Wen Spencer and her Ukiah Oregon books - I pretty much glommed the entire series in a month.
I also adored Sharon Shinn's Samaria series, but I gather that Archangel wasn't to everyone's taste due to the heroine. I don't actually remember it bothering me though!
I'm a wife, a mother to an eighteen year old on the ASD spectrum, and I have ME/CFS.
I would like to be a busy and obsessed reader, crocheter and cross stitcher, but my health gets in the way, so I try to do a little bit of each when I can and not get too frustrated.

I live in New Zealand and I do not use the US format for dates. All my dates are written day-month-year, so for example 3-5-10 is 3rd May 2010 and not 5th March 2010.

Hmmmm. Because with so many good books to choose from, it's hard to make a decision...and thus easier not to make one :)
Methinks it's random generator time :)
Heh. I'm with Orannia, too much choice isn't always a good thing :-) (and yes, I speak from experience!)
What are the books in your list?
Li, my TBR is here.
But I did buy four books today (one of which was Diamond Star) so that won't help matters!
Heh. I need to "restart" Diamond Star.
